Julia Garrido is a passionate advocate for underserved communities and the founder of Monarccast, a platform dedicated to guiding families, especially first generation households through the complexities of the college journey. A proud Dallas native and first-generation college student, Julia draws from her lived experience to create accessible, culturally responsive support systems that empower others to thrive.


With a strong background in higher education spaces and a deep commitment to advocacy, Julia has spent her career bridging the gap between systems and families, helping future generations reach their fullest potential. She is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Education Entrepreneurship at the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education, where she continues to expand her impact.


Beyond her professional work, Julia actively uplifts minority-owned businesses, curates community-centered events, and celebrates her heritage through storytelling and entrepreneurship. She believes in the power of representation, healing, and community connection and carries those values into everything she does.
